Na listi omiljenih naslova Davida Bowieja su “1984” Georgea Orwella, “Na cesti” Jacka Kerouaca, “Paklena naranča” Anthonyja Burgessa, kao što je volio čitati knjige posvećene glazbi poput “Sweet Soul Music: Rhythm And Blues And The Southern Dream Of Freedom”, zatim kolekciju predavanja i zapisa Johna Cagea, te djela posvećena povijesti poput “Povijesti SAD-a” Howarda Zinna, tu su i knjige koje se bave okultnim (“Transcendental Magic”, “Its Doctrine and Ritual”), kao i umjetnošću (“Halls Dictionary Of Subjects And Symbols In Art”).

It’s also a work we’ve loved for a long time here at DBHQ, since David first recommended it many years ago. Go here (https://t.co/wNp8N91EsD) for the synopsis of this gripping and terrible tale of two Londons separated by two and a half centuries. #BowieBookClub #ReadingIsBrainFood
